New features of the Total Property platform

This chapter covers the platforms new features such as how to download your protection history, prescribed information and add a signature. Watch the videos below or follow our step by step guide.

How to download protection history

1. Login to the Total Property platform

2. Select 'Deposits' from the menu on the left side

3. You will see all of your deposits which you can download by clicking the 'Export CSV' button at the top

4. Now choose which office your query relates to

5. Confirm export

6. All of your protections will download into an Excel spreadsheet

How to download the prescribed information

1. Login to the Total Property platform

2. Select 'Deposits' from the menu on the left side

3. Search for the deposit by using the deposit ID, property address, landlord's name, tenant's name or the protected amount

Remember: The deposit ID is the EWI number for all new tenancies. DPC are just for existing deposits we transferred over from our previous system

4. Click the deposit ID you wish to view and this will open the tenancy and the deposit tab

5. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it shows the prescribed information and select it

6. Your prescribed information has now been downloaded into a PDF which you can save

How to upload my signature for pre-populated prescribed information

1. From your dashboard, select 'Agency' on the left hand side

2. Scroll down to the bottom to the signature section

3. Click on the pen icon and upload your signature

4. Select the camera icon to choose your signature from your files and upload

Top tip: You can move your signature to the left/right and zoom in to make sure this fits correctly

5. Click the blue ‘Upload’ button and insert the first and last name of the person's signature

6. Click the blue ‘Save’ button at the bottom

Remember: If you add your signature to the platform this will be automatically applied to all new deposit protections and new versions of the prescribed information
