We launched a new member panel to strengthen our governance and accountability
It’s important to us to have this new, open, and transparent forum for the benefit of both members and the PRS.
Panel members help us by representing areas across the industry and:
providing advice, guidance and support within their expert areas
giving feedback to the Head of Redress on the effectiveness of our processes including membership and case management
engaging with other panel members to share knowledge and raise standards

I am delighted to have been asked to chair the Property Redress Scheme’s member panel. Having previously been part of the advisory panel, I have maintained a keen interest in the growth of the Property Redress Scheme. I support the excellent work they do in improving standards in the sector and supporting both agents and consumers through the complaints and mediation process.
The member panel met for the first time on 20 January 2023 and will meet twice a year. Between meetings panel members will work with us on areas that are of interest or of concern. Work has already started with two sub-committees collaborating with the advisory panel, looking at:
